The Penn Township Board of Supervisors is the three member governing body elected at large by the voters of Penn Township to serve six-year terms. These terms are staggered so that one supervisor seeks re-election every other year.
Penn Township is a Second Class Township, therefore following the Second Class Township Code, Act of May 1, 1933 (P.L. 103, No. 69) Reenacted and amended November 9, 1995 (P.L. 350, No. 60). The code sets by law how the township must conduct business and provide services to the residents of Penn Township. The Board of Supervisors is charged with providing public services in accordance with the code. Their role is primarily executive in nature, providing services that range from public safety and public works to land use administration and implementing local legislation (ordinances).

Samuel M. Ward - Chairman Supervisor - Term ends 2007
Douglas A. Roth - Vice Chairman Supervisor- Term ends 2009
Wilbert J. Mowry, Jr. - Supervisor - Term ends 2011
The Board welcomes comment from the public as well as invites the public to the public meetings held the First and Third Tuesdays of each month. When the meeting is affected by a holiday or election day, the meeting will usually take place the night before. Please contact the municipal building for information about the meetings.
