We are excited to celebrate with our community on Saturday, September 12, and we want to take a moment to thank the many local businesses and organizations that have already stepped up to sponsor this year’s event. Your generosity and support are truly appreciated!

In addition to all the fun activities planned, we’ll be hosting a 50/50 Raffle and Basket Raffle during Community Day.

❤️ Where do the proceeds go?
After event expenses are covered, all remaining sponsorship funds, along with proceeds from the 50/50 Raffle and Basket Raffle, will be donated to the emergency service organizations that work tirelessly to keep our community safe:
🚑 Butler Ambulance Service
👮 Penn Township Police Department
🚒 Penn Township Volunteer Fire Department

Our goal is to raise $2,000 for each department, and we need your help to make it happen!

By attending Community Day and purchasing raffle tickets, you’ll not only have the chance to win some great prizes—you’ll also be directly supporting the dedicated first responders who are there for our community every day.

As we continue planning this year’s Penn Township Community Day, we wanted to share an important update with our residents.

This year, our event may look a little different. While we will no longer be providing a free meal, we are excited to continue offering MANY free activities for families and children to enjoy throughout the day — including face painting, pony rides, crafts, games, community activities, and much more!

In place of the free meal, we will be welcoming Penn Township resident-owned food trucks and local food vendors offering delicious food options for purchase. This change was made with the hope of better supporting our local small businesses, many of which are currently facing challenges. We want to do our part to help local businesses continue to grow, succeed, and remain a valued part of our community.

Community Day has always been about bringing people together, and we hope this adjustment showcases another layer of how Penn Township is working to better align and support all members of our community — residents, organizations, emergency services, and local businesses alike — so we can continue to grow and thrive together as one connected community.

We truly hope this change will not deter attendance and that you will still join us for a fun-filled day centered around community connection, support, and family fun. We can’t wait to see everyone there!
