Please note that the Penn Township Municipal Building will be closed tomorrow Thursday, July 2, in observance of the Independence Day holiday.
The Township Board of Supervisors and staff wish everyone a safe, happy, and healthy Fourth of July weekend! As you celebrate with family and friends, please remember to be courteous to your neighbors and celebrate responsibly.
We look forward to serving you when we reopen during our normal business hours on Monday
As we continue planning this year’s Penn Township Community Day, we wanted to share an important update with our residents.
This year, our event may look a little different. While we will no longer be providing a free meal, we are excited to continue offering MANY free activities for families and children to enjoy throughout the day — including face painting, pony rides, crafts, games, community activities, and much more!
In place of the free meal, we will be welcoming Penn Township resident-owned food trucks and local food vendors offering delicious food options for purchase. This change was made with the hope of better supporting our local small businesses, many of which are currently facing challenges. We want to do our part to help local businesses continue to grow, succeed, and remain a valued part of our community.
Community Day has always been about bringing people together, and we hope this adjustment showcases another layer of how Penn Township is working to better align and support all members of our community — residents, organizations, emergency services, and local businesses alike — so we can continue to grow and thrive together as one connected community.
We truly hope this change will not deter attendance and that you will still join us for a fun-filled day centered around community connection, support, and family fun. We can’t wait to see everyone there!
